They are Labrador Mountain Ski Club alumni and have teaching experience and experience working with children. Training is held three to four times a week, depending on the race schedule. The group meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM to 8:00pm, all day Saturday starting at 9:00 AM and ending at 2:30 PM with a lunch break from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and Sunday's with no races follow the same schedule as Saturday training. In addition to evening and weekend training throughout the season, the U12 program also includes a five day camp between Christmas and New Years. During the camp, the training schedule will be the same as a normal Saturday/Sunday training day. Races that are sanctioned by USSA and NYSSRA are held on most Sundays from January to mis-February. All U10/U12 athletes must join both USSA and NYSSRA to be eligible for participation in these events.
