The U12 athletes represent Labrador Mountain while participating in races within the Central New York Ski Council. This council includes Labrador, Toggenburg, Song, Cazenovia, Skaneateles, and Greek Peak. There are four council races each season, as well as other races in the area. The goals for the races in this program is to continue developing their skiing technique through free skiing and drills, as well as working on racing technique in gates. The coaches for this group are all USSA Certified and have both high school and college race experience. They are Labrador Mountain Ski Club alumni and have teaching experience and experience working with children. Training is held three to four times a week, depending on the race schedule. The group meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM to 8:00pm, all day Saturday starting at 9:00 AM and ending at 2:30 PM with a lunch break from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and Sunday's with no races follow the same schedule as Saturday training. In addition to evening and weekend training throughout the season, the U12 program also includes a five day camp between Christmas and New Years. During the camp, the training schedule will be the same as a normal Saturday/Sunday training day. Races that are sanctioned by USSA and NYSSRA are held on most Sundays from January to mis-February. All U10/U12 athletes must join both USSA and NYSSRA to be eligible for participation in these events.
Kendall is Labrador Mountain Ski Club's U10/U12 head coach. She is a LMSC alumni, skiing with the program from the time she was a Flying Forerunner till her senior year of high school, racing at the State and Eastern levels. She took a break from ski racing during college to play softball at Long Island University- Post for four years. During this time, she was a two time First Team All-American Scholar-Athlete and made four appearances in the NCAA Championship, including an appearance in the College World Series. She is currently coaching softball at the Varsity level for Fayetteville-Manlius. She was the Assistant to the Varsity team at Cicero-North Syracuse for two seasons and won a NYS Championship in 2013. She has been a coach with LMSC for multiple years, but volunteered with the Flying Forerunner program through college. When she is not coaching skiing or softball she is a Physical Education teacher at the middle school in the ESM school district.

The cost per athlete is a $420.00 coaching fee. There is also a $150.00 Family Membership fee and a $50.00 fee per racer for the Club's liability insurance. The athlete will also need a pass for the mountain which can be purchased separately through Labrador Mountain and can purchase a $20.00 NASTAR pass for the season through the club. Each athlete will need to join USSA and NYSSRA as competitors, and will need to download and submit the Medical Information & Release Form to his/her U10/U12 Head Coach or Program Director prior to the start of the season.
