Meet your LMSC Board of Directors

Brett King

President

Brett is excited to be leading the Labrador Mountain Ski Club as the President of the club.  Brett grew up skiing and racing in the Lake Placid region beginning at age 4 and is excited to bring his knowledge of ski racing and his background in leadership to the LMSC.  Brett was formerly and active member within the Toggenburg Junior Race Association, and is very happy to support his son Bradley as he continues to develop his racing skills as an LMSC U14.  Outside of skiing Brett enjoys hiking, boating, waterskiing, and kayaking.  Brett works as a school administrator for the Otselic Valley Central School District.     

Alisa Salibra

Vice - President 

Alisa is thrilled to be our LMSC Vice-President. She is an enthusiastic supporter of junior ski racing along with her husband, Joe, having brought their older son Ben (29) up through the LMSC program over 10 years ago. They now enjoy seeing Eric (12) develop a love for skiing, a drive to compete, and building great friendships with teammates. In the offseason Alisa enjoys waterskiing, kayaking, and cycling. Alisa is VP of Marketing at Hillrom and resides in Skaneateles NY.

Kate Balduzzi

Treasurer

Kate, currently living in Syracuse NY but grew up and started skiing as a teenager in Southern California. She has been with LMSC for 10 years when her oldest daughter started skiing with LMSC at 5 years old. She has served on the board for three years and before that she coached and was head coach for the Flying Forerunner program. She still volunteers as a coach when needed. Outside of the club she works full time as a physical therapist.

Lindsay Wilson

Secretary

Lindsay has brings experience to the board. She has 3 kids in the program, in 3 different age groups, so she has the ability to understand the needs at all the different race levels. 

Steve Dolan

Past President

Steve Dolan, former club president, current Board Member at Large and Race Operations Coordinator, has been with LMSC since his son Joey (21) joined as a Forerunner.  For the past 16 years, Steve and his wife, Debbie have been involved with the day-to-day operations of the club, event planning, and fundraising.  Steve is a certified race official and is the lead in race planning.  He currently has a U16 racer, Jacob.  Steve started skiing at Labrador as an elementary student.  Never a racer as a youth, LMSC has taught him so much about ski racing.  He continues to enjoy skiing and has been recreationally racing for many years.  As a board member and parent, Steve’s goal is to continue the mission, viability, and comradery that LMSC provides local youth ski racers and their families.  

When Steve is not skiing, he is an Engineering Manager at Marquardt Switches in Cazenovia, NY and resides in Liverpool, NY.  He also enjoys other high adrenaline sports like mountain biking and motocross and taking care of his family’s camp in the Adirondacks.  

Matt Elliot

Member at Large

Matt joined the Labrador Mountain Ski Club board this year as a member at large and is a Flying Forerunner coach.  He grew up skiing recreationally in Central New York and now enjoys watching his three children grow on the Lab Race team.  He and his wife love spending quality time on the mountain; meeting new friends and creating wonderful memories. When he’s not skiing, Matt enjoys boating, hiking, and coaching his kids in lacrosse. 

Lisa Lockwood

Member At Large

Lisa joined the LMSC Board three seasons ago and she's also the current U10/12 Central Council NYSSRA Representative. Her passion for skiing began seven years ago when she forced her family to take a ski lesson at Labrador Mountain as a way to cope with the brutal Upstate winter weather. Now, downhill skiing has provided her family more quality time together, new and endearing friendships, and many crazy winter time road trips. When the snow isn't flying, Lisa enjoys spontaneous adventures to see the natural and man-made wonders that surround us, near and far. Professionally, she works in Human Capital Management as a Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner. She resides in Manlius with her husband, 3 children, and 2 pugs.  

Scott Albert

Member At Large

Scott grew up in Upstate NY and skied at Gore and Bromley mountains. He spent a lot of time on the mountains as a recreational skier. He has three daughters involved in the ski program. He and his wife love spending winters at Labrador. When not skiing, Scott enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family.  They reside in Fayetteville. 

Ryan Cameron

Member at Large

Ryan directs the Forerunner program. He is great with the kids and is often described as a "big kid" himself. The kids love to ski with coach Ryan. 

Greg Womer

Member at Large

Greg is a Labrador ski racing alumnus. He is a great resource for the program. He brings a wealth of experience and perspective the program. He also has 3 young kids which keep him very busy on the snow.

Court Wilson

      Coaching Leader

Court started skiing at Labrador at the age of 2 and was a member of the junior race program. He explains, "   I could write a novel about my amazing experience as a racer at Labrador Mountain.  The long-standing friendships (some of which you can see in the Yurt), the challenges of a hard sport and the lifelong love of skiing are definitely chapters in that novel.    I am incredibly passionate about this mountain, the program and the youngsters that truly love it and make it apart of their being."  

Jessica Hehl

Program Director


Jess is very passionate about ski racing. She grew up in the heart of the Adirondacks and skied for New York Ski Education Foundation (NYSEF). She is also a trained educator. Her passion for ski racing and her skills as a communicator and educator make her an exceptional Program Director
