Brad is pleased to be part of the LMSC Board of Directors for another year. Brad first tried skiing in middle school and skied recreationally until he gave it up in while competing collegiately for the cross country and track teams. After many years off the slopes, he rediscovered skiing when his girls, Carly (14), Jillian (14), and Quincey (12), took their first lessons at Labrador’s Kids Town. The Hack family has spent their winters together on the slopes ever since. In the warmer months, Brad’s athletic focus turns to the links, where he competes as a member of Golf Channel’s Amateur Tour. He works in the Chief Technology Office as a Solution Architect and general problem solver for an international financial services firm. Originally from the Hudson Valley, Brad now resides in Manlius with his wife, Donna, and their three daughters.
Dave started racing as a J3 at Labrador. From there, he raced at the high school level and, more recently, weeknight race leagues at Labrador. He has coached the U10/12 levels at Labrador the past 3 seasons. Labrador has been his home for most of his skiing career. Having had a transformative experience as a young racer at Labrador under the coaching of Kathy Okoniewski, He knew that he wanted his kids to be a part of the Labrador Ski Team program. He has appreciated working with our athletes and watching them develop a passion for the sport and lifelong friendships. He is looking forward to the upcoming season and excited to see more friendships and passions grow for the sport of ski racing!
Lisa joined the LMSC Board three seasons ago and she's also the current U10/12 Central Council NYSSRA Representative. Her passion for skiing began seven years ago when she forced her family to take a ski lesson at Labrador Mountain as a way to cope with the brutal Upstate winter weather. Now, downhill skiing has provided her family more quality time together, new and endearing friendships, and many crazy winter time road trips. When the snow isn't flying, Lisa enjoys spontaneous adventures to see the natural and man-made wonders that surround us, near and far. Professionally, she works in Human Capital Management as a Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner. She resides in Manlius with her husband, 3 children, and 2 pugs.

Brian’s passion for skiing began during a family ski trip to Alpine Meadows when he was seven years old. It continued, though growing up in Los Angeles, by having opportunities to ski on various mountains in California, Colorado, and Utah. As an adult, he has been both a full and part time ski instructor at Squaw Valley USA and Alpental - just outside Seattle, WA. During which time, he earned ski instructor certifications in both the US and Canada. Brian has two girls, Madeleine (8) and Caitlin (6), in the Fly Forerunners who too are building a love for this winter activity. Beth, Brian’s wife, took up skiing later in life and enjoys sharing the sport with the family. This is Leslie Smith’s first year on the LMSC Board, and she’s honored to be here. A novice skier, Leslie has enjoyed learning alongside her son Tyler, 13, and Georgia, 10. With her husband Erik, Leslie & the kids can be found at Lab 4 days a week during the season! The kids ski circles around her, but Leslie feels right at home in the yurt, surrounded by other ski families, and on the hill, working on her skills. In the off season, the Smiths can be found hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and pursuing all kinds of adventures.
