Labrador Mountain Ski Club: J1/J2

This program is for racers ages fifteen–nineteen. Weeknight and Weekend training J1/J2 athletes have the opportunity to compete in events
held on weekends throughout Central New York as well as post-season and FIS events out of state.

Competitive Info

In addition to competing within New York State some racers are invited to
or choose to compete in races held throughout the east. Racing begins
in December and can continue into April.

Racing Schedule

J1/2 racers should refer to the NYSSRA web site for the state
schedule. They should then confer with their coaches to choose
competitions that best meet their needs and requirements.

Training

Training begins early December on Saturdays and Sundays
from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm and Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday nights from 5:30-8:30pm. Holiday Camp will
be held between Christmas and New Years, please

Costs

• Family Membership Dues / $150 per family
• Coaching Fees / $470 per racer (includes
a $6 NASTAR fee)
• Labrador Mountain Ski Pass
• Club's liability insurance / $50 per racer

Requirements to Join

Please download and submit the Medical Information &
Release Form prior to the beginning of the season
with your payment. Thank you! You must become
a member of LMSC as well as United States
Ski and Snowboard Association USSA,
New York State Ski Racing Association NYSSRA
and FIS as applicable.

A variety of essential positions are available for adults and we need
your help to make LMSC run smoothly. It's a lot of fun and the entire club
