Labrador Mountain Ski Club: J4

This program is for racers ages eleven–twelve. Weeknight and Weekend training J4 athletes have the opportunity to compete in events
held on Sundays throughout Central New York.

J4's race within the Central New York Ski Council (CNYSC). A CNYSC
Team is selected to represent the Council at the J4 State Championships.
The selection process is outlined in the Central Council Directory, which is
published and distributed to Club members in December.

Racing Schedule

J4 racers should refer to the Council Race Information
and State Schedule pages of the NYSSRA Web site
or the Central Council Directory for schedules.

Super G Camp

All J4s will be invited to participate in a 2-day camp at time and place to
be determined. Athletes competing in the J4 State Championships
must have participated fully in this camp. During the camp, racers will
learn basic speed techniques. There will be video analysis and
clean runs will be conducted.

Training

First there is Holiday Camp that will be held between
Christmas and New Years, please see the Events schedule.
After the camp, training will be on Saturday and Sunday
from 8:30 am-2:30 pm and Tuesday and Thursday
nights from 5:30-8:30pm.

Costs

• Family Membership Dues / $150 per family
• Coaching Fees / $440 per racer
(includes a $6 NASTAR fee)

• Labrador Mountain Ski Pass
• Club's liability insurance / $50 per racer

Requirements to Join

Please download and submit the
Medical Information & Release Form
prior to the beginning of the season
with your payment. Thank you! You must become
a member of LMSC as well as both United States
Ski and Snowboard
Association USSA and
New York State Ski Racing Association
NYSSRA.

A variety of essential positions are available for adults and we need
your help to make LMSC run smoothly. It's a lot of fun and the entire club
appreciates you and your dedication to the sport. Thank you!
