LABRADOR MTN. SKI
CLUB
Parents Ski School - 2008
We
assume that you all had a great time this season and
want to do it again next year. Bug Anthony Lubrino
between now and then so we can get him to be the
great organizer that he is again!!
Being a part of
the Labrador Mountain Ski Club is a great family
experience, but we want to make it even better! You
bring your kids to Labrador Mountain for some of the
best ski and race training around, but what about
you!!!
The Labrador Mountain Ski School is offering some of
its best skiers to instruct current and alumni
parents of LMSC racers. These sessions will take
place during the junior race teams’ normal training
times on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, beginning at
6:30 pm, as well as Saturday mornings, 9:30 to
11:30. The program will run for six weeks, with the
first session on Saturday, January 5, 2008.
Groups will be small and the instruction will be
determined by what a group wants to work on. One
group may want to tackle the bumps, while another
group wants to cruise or do gates!
All skiing levels are encouraged to participate, as
this is as much about getting to know the other
parents in the club, as it is about keeping up with
your little racers! This is also a great way, for
parents new to the racing club, to learn the ropes
for the upcoming season.
Please note that contributions - required for Alumni
members and optional for current members - go to the
LMSC Junior Racer Fund; a fund designed to support
the special needs of athletes or racer programs that
arise from time to time. The Labrador Mountain Ski
Club is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) educational
corporation so all contributions are tax deductible
to the extent allowed by the law.
