This program is geared to advanced racers, 15 to 19 years old, who possess
the dedication and desire to become more proficient in their ski racing.
Training: Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, beginning the first
day that Labrador is open. Training continues
through March 9 and
later for racers who qualify for end-of-season Championship events.
Training Times:
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights from
5:30-8:30PM
- Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM-2:30 PM
Family Membership Dues: Membership dues, which cover administrative and
equipment costs related to the race program, are $150 per family.
Coaching Fees: Fees for the
2007-2008 season $470 per racer. This includes a
$6 NASTAR fee. The coaching fee does not include the Labrador Mountain Ski
Pass.
Insurance Charge: There is an
additional $50 charge per racer for the Club's
liability insurance.
Health Information Form: All racers must
have this form on file prior to the beginning of the
season. Download the
Medical Information & Release Form and submit it with your
payment.
Additional Required Memberships:
J1-2 racers must have a United States Ski and Snowboard
Association (USSA) Competitor's License and must be a
member of the New York State Ski Racing Association
(NYSSRA) if they wish to compete. Renewal
applications are sent by USSA. Applications for new
racers can be obtained by clicking

J1-2 Racing: Junior 1-2 racers compete in events held throughout the state. In addition, some racers are invited to compete, or choose to compete in races
held throughout the east. Racing begins in December and can continue into
April.
Racing Schedule: J1-2 racers should refer to the
2008 J1-2 NYSSRA Race Schedule. They should then confer with their
coaches to choose competitions that best meet their needs and requirements.
